How to Reach the Hudson Children’s Book Festival

Authors & Illustrators — Would you like to participate in the 2026 Festival?

If you’d like to be a participating author at the 2026 Hudson Children’s Book Festival, our online application will be available in January.  Participating authors and illustrators are chosen at our discretion and each applicant will be notified of their status whether accepted or not. If you are not chosen as a participating author, you will be placed on a wait list.

If you would like to lend a hand and become a volunteer for festival day, please send an email to hudsonchildrensbookfestival@gmail.com.

Festival hours run from 10 am – 3pm, so please indicate whether you can work a half day or a full day. Half day morning hours run from 10 am – 1pm, and half day afternoon hours run from 1 pm – 3 pm.

We could also use your help the Friday before with setup! Set up begins at 3 pm, so please indicate if you are available to help on Friday as well. We would appreciate any and all help!
