Brown, Keith Henry

Brown, Keith Henry

Keith Henry Brown is an award-winning author, illustrator, and designer whose career spans comics, fine art, design, and education. A former Marvel Comics illustrator and Parsons School of Design alumnus, he has published watercolor artwork widely and later became a creative director, often inspired by his lifelong passion for jazz. Brown has designed for institutions such as Blue Note Jazz Club and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and created album covers for renowned jazz artists. He now teaches at Parsons and lives in Brooklyn. Lizzy Rockwell is an author, illustrator, muralist and quilter. She illustrated her first book, Apples and Pumpkins, written by her mother, Anne Rockwell in 1989. Since then she has created 40 books as illustrator or author/illustrator. Lizzy was born in New York City and has spent most of her life in Connecticut. The ponds, coastline, forests and her own garden habitats of New England have inspired much of her work.
